The objective of this five-year program is to establish a fully integrated, risk-based integrity framework that optimizes inspection strategies, enhances asset reliability, reduces unplanned shutdowns, and ensures compliance with international standards and Saudi Aramco engineering standards.

The project methodology includes deploying an advanced AIMS and Inspection Data Management Software (IDMS) integrated with SAP CMMS to implement Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies across KJO’s facilities. The system is aligned with the International Organization for Standardization ISO 55000 series and API 580/581 standards, ensuring a proactive, data-driven approach to mechanical integrity management.

Implementation Approach

Phase 1: System establishment – data collection, gap analysis, software deployment, AIMS manual development, knowledge transfer, and ISO certification

Phase 2: Enhancement and execution – additional studies, surveys, manpower deployment, and implementation of recommendations

Phase 3: Sustainment – ongoing software management, training, document review, and continuous improvement support

Team Velosi will develop and submit the following deliverables:

  • Develop and implement a robust AIMS aligned with the International Organization for Standardization ISO 55000 series (ISO 55001 & ISO 55002) and Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards
  • Conduct comprehensive benchmarking and gap analysis against global best practices
  • Design and deploy advanced integrity programs using Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies
  • Supply, configure, test, and deploy specialized AIMS software integrated with SAP CMMS
  • Embed RBI outcomes into SAP to enhance asset data visibility and decision-making
  • Establish centralized integrity databases and performance dashboards
  • Execute integrity programs across offshore platforms, pipelines, gas plants, tank farms, power facilities, and associated infrastructure
  • Provide certified and experienced integrity specialists
  • Deliver structured knowledge transfer and on-the-job training
