A Major Oil & Gas Company in the Middle East has appointed Velosi to carry out a Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) study for SARB Gas Development Project, to analyze whether the associated risks are within the standard acceptability risk criteria, and assist in the risk-based design development of the project.

Velosi team will prepare a standalone QRA report, which will cover all hazards/risks associated with the project facility. Process Risk Assessment (jet fire, flash fire, pool fire, VCE studies), Non-Process Risk Assessment (occupational and transportation hazards), H2S Zoning Study, and SO2 Dispersion study for all the identified scenarios (well blowouts, well release, and loss of containment from piping and equipment). Based on these assessments, various risk reduction measures will be identified to reduce the overall risk.
