Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis - FMECA

Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) is an augmentation of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), in which the failure modes are categorized according to their urgencies, including the integrated measure of the seriousness of a failure mode and its possibility of occurrence.

At Velosi, FMEA, along with Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis, methodologies are used to review as many components, assemblies and subsystems as possible to recognize possible failure modes in a system, their causes and effects.

Benefits of FMECA:

Assesses the risk associated with those failure modes.
