Working with radiation sources poses many health & safety risks, which is why it is critical for organizations to ensure that radiation levels remain with allowable limits at all times and that all their staff members clearly understand the risks involved with working with radiation sources and take necessary precautions to mitigate these potential risks.

This Radiography and Radiation Safety Training course provides an overview of the fundamental rules of radiation safety applicable to industrial radiography. The course consists of basic principles of radiography, potential hazards of working with radiography sources, the use of radiographic equipment, and standard radiation safety procedures.

On successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• implement radiation surveys,
• use exposure devices effectively,
• perform source changes,
• conduct leak tests, and
• perform routine inspection of industrial radiography equipment.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting, online. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
